I’m supposed to weigh in once a week according to my online weight loss system. In fact, it will not allow you to record more often. But, you’re not going to keep me off the scale for a whole week, so I had to peek yesterday. I was down 3 pounds! I love the first week of healthy lifestyle changes! I’ll take all the pounds I can get now, because I know the loss will slow down.

  1. Are you on weight watchers? I know that when I’ve weighed in for the first time before (I’ve restarted a few times in my life), I generally lose a lot that first week. Sometimes as much as 5-7 pounds. It tapers off, though, and you kind of fall into a routine after that. For me, that means about 4 pounds every two weeks or so. Keep up the good work, and best of luck as you continue on.
