Not much to update. Not doing as well as I would like, though. Struggling with fatigue and lack of motivation. I hope it’s temporary and I’m just catching up with sleep. I really have to keep reminding myself to make the right choices and to get up off the couch. Still struggling with feeling hungry and deprived. I really don’t struggle with trying new foods and trying new recipes, except for the act of actually doing the work (fatigue wins out). I love all sorts of foods, especially vegetables and fruits. But, I do feel deprived because I have eliminated most sugar and white flour. This is mostly not a problem since they’re not a weakness of mine. Just sometimes when I feel like a “treat”. I do like something sweet with my morning coffee, like pistachio muffins.
I picked up a copy of Bob Harper’s Skinny Rules. 20 simple rules. I’m not a big fan of the 10 steps to… and 10 best… and 10 ways to… genre, but I do like Bob and his philosophies, so I thought I’d read it. I’m also not a big fan of “rules” of any kind, lol. Any one read it yet? Thoughts?
